How to prepare the ground for container delivery
A smooth delivery starts with well-prepared ground. A container that sits level opens easily, does not twist and lasts for many years.
1. Choose a level, stable spot
The ground should be as level as possible and must not give way under the weight. Avoid areas where water collects.
2. Put support under the corners
The container rests on its four corners. Usually 4–6 concrete blocks or slabs, laid level, are enough. No poured foundation is needed for storage.
3. Check truck access
- A passable access road for the delivery truck.
- Room next to the unloading spot (with crane unloading, also for the stabilisers).
- No power lines or branches above the work area.
4. Think about the doors
Leave space in front of the doors so they open fully and you can load goods easily.
5. Send us photos
Before delivery, a few photos of the site and the access road help us choose the right truck and avoid surprises.
