Answers to the questions our customers ask most often.

Can I see the container before I buy it?

Your quote states the type, condition and dimensions of the container. Ask us for photos or a viewing – we will tell you what is possible for your container.

About All-Container

How does payment work?

The payment terms are stated in your quote and in our general business conditions. You receive an invoice from All-Container GmbH (HRB 207188, Local Court Tostedt) for every order.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the container type, availability and the delivery location. We agree the delivery date with you and state it in the quote.

Transport and installation

What do “one-trip”, “cargo-worthy” and “storage grade” mean?

One-trip means a practically new container used for a single sea voyage. Cargo-worthy (CW) is a used, inspected container that can still be shipped. A storage-grade container is used and wind- and watertight but shows wear; it is the cheapest option for storage.

Guide: one-trip, cargo-worthy, IICL

What is the difference between a 20 ft and a 40 ft container?

A 20 ft container is about 6 m long with roughly 33 m³; a 40 ft container is about 12 m long with roughly 67 m³. High cube versions are about 30 cm taller.

Guide: 20 ft vs 40 ft

How should the ground be prepared?

The ground must be level and stable. A storage container usually stands on 4–6 concrete blocks or slabs under the corners; no poured foundation is needed for storage.

Guide: preparing the ground

What access does the delivery vehicle need?

A passable access road and space next to the unloading spot, with no power lines or branches above the work area. Send us a few photos of the site and we will advise you.

Do I need a building permit for a container?

In Germany this is governed by the building code of your federal state (Landesbauordnung) and depends on use, size and how long the container stays. Ask your local building authority (Bauamt) before placing it. We can provide the container data sheet for your application.
